Briefing today was held at 10:30 with the competitors gridding before, there were mixed feelings as to the possibility of tasking today. The weather out the window gave 7/8 of cloud with some signs of lift.. The met men suggesting a warm front approaching from the south cutting the day short. In light of this a short task of 82.0km was set: SU2 - TON - SOF - SU3 – SutfinN Out of briefing, maps marked, a quick sniff and the grid started launching at 11:25 with the last in the sky at 12:00. Monday started with a 10:30 briefing at a few hrs grid squat. After the Director took a flight to feel what the air was doing it was decided to scrub the day. With strong, 25 – 30kt at flying height, Westerly winds and suspected showers in all directions the decisions was taken to scrub early and allow the competitors the option to take a winch launch to explore the ridge and hunt for the wave.
