Today the pilots have been assigned an area task of 2.5 hours, between Villa Vallelonga and Foligno. The finish line was a 5kms cylinder, just like yesterday. It’s been the fourth day of competition: which means that the CIM can be considered valid, as far as regards the international ranking (three valid rounds is the minimum). The conditions were quite exciting along the task assigned, with strong thermals spread almost everywhere, infact most of the pilots have reported values up to 3.5 meters per second. The basis just like in the past days developed between 2000m and 3000m. Strong winds from the North have forced again the participants to land on runways 34.
