This is the Soaring Spot Test Site. It behaves exactly the same as the live Soaring Spot except a) Uploads are ignored and b) it always returns the same flight for download.

31st Australian Club & Sports Class Nationals

Benalla Gld, Australia,   January 2, 2012 – January 13, 2012

Day 2 Wednesday 4th January

The day started overcast, lightning, rain even up to 10am

By 11.15 it had cleared and sunny.

All classes gridded by 12.30 and 20M class launched followed by Standard and Club last.

Last minute changes were made to extend the circle for Sport class to fly a little further and Club class to get around a little slower.

Soon after launch there was blue-ing out over Benella, but Cu's to the north forming in the task area.

Results for Day 1 are not finalised for Sport, Club or 20M due to a protest to be heard and some airspace issues to be dealt with by the scorer.... stay tuned!!!!!

It was also noted about 100 Ibis were thermalling over Benalla. One obviously thought they were too slow and went to thermal by himself. Another large one could not work out the angles and went and landed it seems.

Remember to smile once a day!!
