This is the Soaring Spot Test Site. It behaves exactly the same as the live Soaring Spot except a) Uploads are ignored and b) it always returns the same flight for download.

31st Australian Club & Sports Class Nationals

Benalla Gld, Australia,   January 2, 2012 – January 13, 2012

Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th

Saturday competition flying is cancelled due to inclement weather coming from the West making the Task window too small. It is very nice and sunny and mild at the moment though.

The Pilots meeting is scheduled for 10.45 am. It may be a long one with many agenda items:-(

Sunday may have poor weather and the decision for the day will be made and announced on Sunday 9am.

Friday was a very successful day with most pilots getting aound. Many pilots commented that all they had to do was go around the speed task turns and not fly into the ground! Little other planning seemed required;-]

Bjorn Rechinger (from Denmark) was a notable speaker when he received the price for winning yesterday Club class task. He was happy to win the task lottery and was pleased to have bought a ticket in the race. He was pleased with the Tallis wine and the Gliding International Subsciption too.

Brad Edwards, as usual was the fastest in Sports Class.

A task is being set of wineries and cheese outlets for Sunday.

regards
