Friday 14th January - there is no flying to be tasked. There is rain today but conditions are improving Very strong winds are expected. There is a strong likelihood that the competition will be taked Saturday, provided the Airfield drains and drys sufficiently. Don't forget the pilots meeting at 1300 in the Clubhouse. While we are singing in the rain, we are not flying here. It is forecast for low cloud, rain increasing later and if there is Cu it is likely to be thunder storms. Allan Barnes has confirmed his car is out of the carpark in Brisbane. The concerned wife of an Entrant in the Nationals noticed that our esteemed and valued Bar Manager's caravan was getting wet due to it's door being open. Doing that right thing, she locked the door. 30 minutes later heard a voice from said caravan, "Hello, Hello, is there anybody out there", coupled with some "rapping on the door from the inside".
