Soaring Spot :: COPPA INTERNAZIONALE DEL MEDITERRANEO 2014 -3 August

The CIM 2014 have been opened this evening with the mandatory briefing at 6:30pm. Franca Vorano, the contest director, explained the rules for a safe competition. She also announced the delegate pilots for the following classes: club, 15m, standard, 18m, 20m, open. It’s been really exciting for us and many of the participants to see ourselfes reunited again after one year. Furthermore, we would like to give a great welcome to the new Glider Pilots, that are taking part to the competition for the first time. This year in Rieti we have lots of foreigners (about half of the competitors) mainly because this CIM will be a training exercise for the next European Gliding Championship, wich will be taken in August 2015 for the classes: club, standard and 15m.
