Oggi, contro ogni previsione, si è potuta correre l’ultima giornata della CIM 2013.

Il tema assegnava quattro aree con un tempo di 2h30.

La meteo era complessa con venti forti dai quadranti settentrionali nel teatro di gara a nord, dove gli agganci sono stati difficili specie nella prima area (Nocera Umbra). Nella seconda parte del tema, Sangemini e Fabro, alcuni piloti hanno dovuto accendere il motore per rientrare in campo. Anche gli atterraggi sono stati difficili a causa del vento e del temporale che è arrivato qui proprio insieme agli alianti! Due piloti sono atterrati nell’aeroporto di Treni. Uno subito fuori dall’aeroporto di Rieti e un alto si è fermato conto la rete di recinzione della pista. Domani mattina la premiazione si svolgerà alle 9,00.§

Today, against all forecast, it has been possible to run the last day of CIM 2013.
The task included four areas with a time of 2:30hours.
The weather was difficult with strong northerly winds in the area north of the competition. In the second part of the task, San Gemini and Fabro, some pilots had to start the engine to arrive in to the field. Although landings have been difficult because of the wind of the storm which arrived here together with the gliders. Two pilots have landed at the airport of Terni. One glider landed right outside the airport of Rieti and another glider stopped into the fence of the field. Tomorrow morning, the prizegiving will be at 9:00. Clara
