Monday started with a 10:30 briefing at a few hrs grid squat. After the Director took a flight to feel what the air was doing it was decided to scrub the day. The call being made 30 seconds before a torrential down pour.

Today’s task area was to the south of the club with two options given:
A. SU2 – KNA – GOO – SU3 – SutFinN = 149.1km
B. SU2 – KNA – YOE – SU3 – SutFinN = 98.7km
Task Bravo was called and the grid started launching from around midday with the start gate opening at 12:55 on Task B. Most competitors where quick off the mark with the entire field starting within 20 mins of the gate opening.
In Task the quality of the lift was variable, with talk of wave influence effecting the thermal strengths. Most people found york to be flat though there were a couple of good climbs to be had:
